The model MK30R portable moisture meter offers unique features for field and laboratory use. It uses advanced UHF radio wave technology and signal processing to get best results in noise level and stability. It is optimized for measuring thick materials, like pulp, paper, wood, soil, textiles and is handy in daily portable use and invaluable while traveling to mills abroad.
The penetration depth is 30 mm in most fibre products and the measuring area is 40 mm in diameter. One can measure either running webs, rotating reels or static reel profiles. Also pulp stacks and lab sheets are easy to do. It displays the readings either as big numbers or small numbers plus a curve. Data can be saved to memory with up to 500 points and one can have maximum 820 of data series. They can later be downloaded to a PC. PC programs belong to the meter bundle and also the 100 meter wireless / USB communications. This a must-have tool for pulp makers but serves especially well paper makers needing precise profiles.
