WHY THE PSM-Q?
The PSM-Q measures TSI continuously on the paper machine and, using Aurelia’s PaperForm prediction software, important paper properties like tensile strength, SCT, burst, ring crush and concora can be measured in real time and quality variation can be removed, the cost of inputs to the paper machine can be minimised, process optimisation can occur more quickly, reject material avoided and machine trial times and risk can be lowered.
